THE GAIN is from the Southern California area and they totally rock. I don't know shit about "mod" and I've never really listened to THE WHO, but when I hear other people describing this band, I always seem to hear both of those. They got a record label going called Brrapp! Records, and they released their own debut 7", along with another 7" by a band called THE CHOICE. Nice guys, funny and goofy as fuck. The tour with SCARED OF CHAKA last January went great. Tons of fun.

Also, a split 7" with SCARED OF CHAKA on 702 Records is now available, featuring two kickass songs by each band.
