IMPORTANT: To avoid unnecessary delays, read the following carefully and be sure you send your design in a form we can use. Please feel free to contact us if you need something clarified.

You can send us your design on paper or in the form of a computer file.

• SIZE Size your artwork to the scale of the sticker size or larger. Include crop marks so we know how you want the art oriented on the sticker. We can easily enlarge/reduce your artwork to fit the sticker size you specify.
• COLOR SEPARATIONS are something we can easily take care of for you. Just submit your artwork exactly in the same manner you'd like it to print.
• PRINT You must supply camera-ready artwork. It can be photocopied, laserprinted, or hand-drawn. The ink on your originals must be black. Make your design simple! Intricate and super-fine lines (less than 1-pt) tend to dry up in the screen and will not show up on your sticker. For your own reference, 1pt lines are roughly the same thickness as what a medium ball point will draw. Serifed fonts can be a nightmare for us — especially at small point sizes. Set all type at LEAST 10 points. If you want a negative image printed, we can reverse your artwork — no problem, no extra charge. Photos come out alright if you send in the original photo and let us make the halftone. We screen all halftones at 55 lpi.

COMPUTER USERS

• FORMATS

  We accept the following PC & MAC* formats
  • Corel Draw (v9.0 and below)
  • Photoshop (FLATTEN ALL LAYERS!)
  • Illustrator (v8.0 and below)
  • TIFF / EPS / JPEG / GIF / PNG / PDF (300-600 DPI!)
    
    

  * When sending MAC files, please be sure to save it "for PC" and that there is an extension (e.g. "filename.ai" or "filename.psd") on the file name.
  
  Your file can be sent via the internet using our online order form (link below). We also accept files sent by mail on floppies, Zip disks, or CD-Rs. All disks must be accompanied by paper proof. Please be sure to label your disks with filename, format, and your name & phone number.

• STICKER TEMPLATES Please download one of our sticker templates here. All of our small quantity sticker sizes are offered and they're all scaled to the correct dimensions and minimum resolution.
• SIZE Size your artwork to the scale of the sticker size or larger. We can easily reduce your artwork to fit the sticker size you specify. We can enlarge artwork, but the quality of the finished product will suffer.
• DESIGN Make your design simple! Intricate and super-fine lines (less than 1-pt) tend to dry up in the screen and will not show up on your sticker. For your reference, 1pt lines are roughly the same size as what a medium ball point pen will draw. It is a good idea to keep important elements of your artwork at least 1/8" from the edge of the sticker to allow for cutting. • CONVERT ALL FONTS TO CURVES or include them with your file! This is extremely important -- we cannot be responsible for misprinted stickers if you forget this vital step. (For users of Corel Draw, Illustrator, and similar programs). In Photoshop, using the Flatten Image command before saving will do the same thing.

HOW TO PLACE
YOUR ORDER

If you have not yet looked at our online pricelist, or if you haven't downloaded a sticker template, we highly recommend you do so before proceeding with your order. Turnaround is 2-8 weeks.

• ONLINE: CLICK HERE for easy Online ordering! Pay by credit card, Paypal, check, or money order (or bank transfer for European customers). You will receive a confirmation email after completing your order -- if you do not, your order was probably not finalized and we will not have received it. In this case, please try ordering online again and let us know of any website errors.
  
  
• ONLINE REORDERS: You can bypass the online ordering system by sending a Paypal payment (to paypal@stickerguy.com) or by making a credit card payment. Be sure to let us know that it's a reorder in the payment notes and to send us a new copy of your design in a separate email.
  
  
• BY MAIL/FAX: Send your artwork and payment (made out to Sticker Guy!) to our Po Box. We accept checks, money orders, and most credit cards. We require full payment up front, unless your total is greater than $200, in which case we will accept a 50% deposit — but no stickers will be sent until we have received full payment. • BY PHONE: We prefer not to take orders over the phone, but if you'd like to reorder more of some stickers we've already printed for you and don't want to pay online by credit card, feel free give us a call.
